As THE furniture bank of Kansas City, Flourish provides whole-home furnishings to clients referred by local social service agencies. Flourish partners with 70 agencies in the KC area that provide wrap-around housing, employment, and health support to clients. Flourish prides itself on creating a personal experience for our clients, empowering those we serve to establish a safe, permanent, and comfortable home. In 2022, Flourish served 881 families and individuals, creating furnished homes for 2,244 household members. Volunteers collected, repaired, and distributed 36,797 items, diverting 308 tons of unwanted furniture from the landfill.
