The mission of the Kansas Volunteer Commission is to empower all Kansans to meet community needs through service.

Who Are We?

Kansas AmeriCorps members get things done for Kansans and Kansas communities. AmeriCorps members provide financial literacy workshops, tutor students, help people increase their job readiness skills or find safe, affordable housing. Members also help out when disaster strikes.With over 100 members serving across the state, the Kansas Volunteer Commission and AmeriCorps State programs are looking for individuals with an interest in service and a commitment to making a difference.
