The Potomac Highlands Fuller Center for Housing (FCH) will be one of those partner sites. The Potomac Highlands FCH is a local, non-profit, ecumenical housing ministry that builds and renovates houses in partnership with families in need. Homeowners work hand-in-hand with volunteers to build or renovate their homes, which they then pay for on terms they can afford, with no interest charged or profit made. This is a hand up not a handout. The Potomac Highlands FCH will engage 2 full time AmeriCorps members to

Service Activities

* Modernize volunteer procedure manuals and construction manuals.
* Recruit, train, recognize and retain volunteers
* Assist with outreach activities
* Provide direct service as a volunteer center host and crew leader as needed.
* Assist with applicant family intake for new home construction and repairs
