Description

FoodCorps is a nationwide team of AmeriCorps leaders that connects kids to food and helps them grow up healthy. We do that by placing motivated leaders in limited-resource communities for a year of public service.
This ranges from partnering with cafeteria staff, to leading hands on lessons in the garden and class, to cooking clubs, to developing education tools implemented nationwide.

We are currently searching for 11 service members for paid service in Iowa schools from August 1st, 2022-July 15th, 2023 with locations in Des Moines, Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Oelwein.
