We are a group of young people who are focused on combatting Climate Change and educating ourselves on the issues that face our community.

THIS IS NOT LIKE OTHER JOBS.
We are a grassroots organization that is committed to providing training, mentorship, and opportunities to youth.



Join us for our 2022 Climate Corps- Energy & Water Conservation program! The Energy & Water Conservation program (E&W) is a team-based, 26 or 34 week-long program for individuals between the ages 18-24. E&W participants (called Corpsmembers) serve on community-based energy and water conservation projects throughout the Denver metro area. Corpsmembers will be enrolled in AmeriCorps—a national community service program.

Corpsmembers will earn up to $17,470 for a 26-week term, or $23,690 for a 34-week term.

Never had a job in conservation before? Not sure if you like this kind of work? That’s okay! Our goal is to support you with the knowledge and team that you need to be successful. We will provide you with hands-on training and certificates related to all projects.

*In order to qualify for the position, you must have a high school diploma or GED*

Service Activities

• Income Qualifying Residents: Provide high-quality customer service to low-income households in the Denver Metro area: schedule energy assessment visits and travel to income-qualified households across the front-range to install high-efficient lights, toilets and low-flow water fixtures. Educate residents on conservation techniques and provide information on resources to help improve their quality of life.
• The Community: Provide support and complete service projects with other local non-profits and community organizations. Projects include service with local food banks, community gardens, and community clean-ups.

Members will have a share of the monthly health insurance premium.
