Description
As an AmeriCorps VISTA for the Workforce Development and Social Initiatives Division of the Youth Development and Social Initiatives Department, you will have the opportunity to play a significant role in fostering pathways to opportunity for Las Vegas residents. Collaborating with seasoned professionals and dedicated volunteers, you will play a pivotal part in creating, enhancing, and expanding the division’s workforce development, youth development, and community engagement efforts.

· Stipend up to $22,882 for the 12-month term ($880.08 bi-weekly)
· Education Award of $6,895 (available after successful completion of service term and can be applied directly towards tuition or student loans) OR end-of-year stipend award of $1,800
· Eligible for Federal student loan forbearance or deferment
We are looking to fill one position in this role with a start date in the month of May or June.
