Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) AmeriCorps Thrift Store Associates sort donations, steam clothing, help keep the store clean and organized, and perform retail functions.
CAP AmeriCorps members also have the opportunity to participate in CAP's Volunteer Program. CAP Volunteers commit to direct Service, intentional Community, and Spirituality. In addition to their service, most CAP volunteers share in dinner and devotion several nights a week.

All food and housing is provided for members who choose to live in a CAP volunteer community house. The living allowance is $160 bi-weekly for members who live in community and $635 bi-weekly for members who choose to live on their own.
