Assess the current department and client needs for volunteer services and roles to identify most pertinent needs. Increase community resources and connection to the New American community.

Service Activities

Could be, but not limited to: Write a volunteer and community resource development plan. Build upon existing presentations and outreach materials to develop new presentations to use for community education. Research and develop list of target communitity members and other possible sources to perform community outreach. Put together a plan of action for outreach to targeted communities. Train and manage volunteers . Collect, record, and distribute cash and in-kind donations. Develop tracking mechanisms for volunteers, outreach, recruitment, and donations.
