This AmeriCorps member will start service September 6, 2022 with an ending date of July 31st, 2023. The application window for this
position closes August 30, 2022.
-Monthly Living Allowance - $2,000.00 stipend
-Education Award (upon completion of 1700 hours) - $6,495.00

Service Activities

This position is focused on all facets of community and methods of communication. The person who fills this position is organized and desires to see the community itself better organized. is curious & eager to learn more about community and our region, and enjoys building and maintaining new relationships. This person will work closely with OVOF Coordinator.

-marketing/communications
-social media content
-produce newsletters & other communication materlals as needed
-administrative support
-board collaboration

Our Valley Our Future / Neustro Valle Neustro Futuro is an independent, nonpartisan, community-based organization that engages and collaborates with the people and organizations of Our Valley in working to achieve our region’s shared, long-range vision.

OVOF, founded in 2015, brings together community members and organizations to improve the regions quality of life through collaboration and planning for the future. Its guiding document is its five-year Action Plan (2022-2026). OVOF serves as a convener, facilitator, data collector, planner and communicator in furthering the community's vision through the Action Plan work led by partnering organizations.

Position Outcomes

This position will directly serve as aspects of the community. OVOF adheres to the collective impact model and whole-of-community planning, and OVOF's work benefits all members in community.
