The AmeriCorps Member reposts to our Executive Director for all direction and assignments within various departments. Member will be properly trained in all areas of involvement and will receive onboarding training to serve as orientation to the Senior Activity Center and our population served. Member will assist the Program Director in various community outreach activities, including promotion and education to the public about the Center’s operations and purpose.

Service Activities

• Assist in the delivery of educational programs and activities offered by the Center.
• Conduct presentations to public groups and organizations promoting the Center.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of volunteers.
• Participate in fund raising events & activities

Social needs, focusing especially on the connectedness, participation and independence of the older adult.
