1. Communications & Community outreach: Blog writing, video production, and storytelling. Develop content for monthly editorial calendar & provides specific communications programmatic support (e.g. event or training flyers). Researches options for future document management & long-term cloud storage for the ACH. Website content development. Assists with development of community outreach events & performs community outreach as needed

2. Coalition for Health Improvement (CHI) Community Initiatives support: Provide support for the CHI Comm. Initiatives funding administrative process, coordinating application review & managing scoring & reviewer communication. Work with Project Manager & funded partners to report impact. Assist with the recruitment of volunteer and independent reviewers. Assist with application material development & submission.

3. Other Programmatic Support: Supports outreach and development of specific community-facing programs as needed: Assist with research tasks and stakeholder engagement. Supports development and outreach of community-facing programs and events. Interfaces with local community networking groups to keep apprised of local efforts and identify opportunities to help coordinate and complement ongoing efforts through NCACH initiatives.

Service Activities

• Use email, Slack, Zoom, and other digital tools and platforms to communicate and collaborate with colleagues and external partners
• Attend internal and external meetings
• Working with Communications Manager, develop weekly and monthly content for organization’s communications channels, including but not limited to: blogs, video, social media, outreach materials, website content, etc.
• Manage grant process administrative tasks (e.g. collecting applications, organizing application review, tracking scores, etc)
• Working with team, identify new opportunities for community outreach and engagement
• Working with team, identify new ways to share stories and report program impact
• Support the development of quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and update stakeholder email database monthly

Advance whole-person health and health equity in North Central Washington by unifying stakeholders, supporting collaboration, and driving systemic change, with particular attention to the social determinants of health.

Position Outcomes

NCACH achieves its mission by bringing together local community leaders who are focused on health, policy, and data-driven approaches to implement a series of healthcare transformation projects. We use collaborative partnerships and innovative solutions to improve the health of our communities as a part of the state’s Medicaid Transformation initiative. Our goal is to activate residents, health and social service providers, payers, and other community members to join in building a healthier region together.
