This is full-time service, requiring 1700 hours over 46 weeks. Members serve under professional supervision and provide legal assistance to low-income people in civil (non-criminal) matters. Benefits include a living stipend , an education award upon successful completion of service, health insurance, and child care assistance if eligible.
