The ideal candidate is detailed-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable with topics around equity and inclusion. Support the Advocacy team with marketing, strategic planning, action plans, policy, research, practices, data collection, and other areas to achieve goals set for advancement of racial equity and inclusion. The Public Engagement Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership in the area of online engagement of advocates in order to advance YWCA’s public policy priorities. Additional responsibilities include management of our online presence, website, assisting with our social media accounts as well as tracking and analyzing program metrics and recommending modifications based upon data. It is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level person with an interest in working in the non-profit sector to develop an understanding on how programs are supported to achieve an equity fighting mission.
