Description

This opportunity permits working at another job and/or attendance at college/trade school during off hours. Federal Loan Forbearance, Living Allowance (estimate of $908 monthly), and Childcare assistance is available if eligible. Education award ($4,441.50) upon successful completion of service, and in-depth trainings useful for future careers
• Participate in an emergency or disaster related services as required by Volunteer Florida and AmeriCorps
• Facilitate connections and referrals to the appropriate service under HUF’s Center for Working Families (CWF) and any other programs provided by HUF.
• Attending all required trainings that will enhance their professional development and ability to better serve the target families
• Assess and assist clients with job readiness tools – resume templates, interview best practices and other tools and resources in collaboration with Workforce Development Coaches to connect families with opportunities for increased income
