WSC members will provide outreach to local veteran populations, engaging them in meaningful and sustained volunteer opportunities in the community they live in.

Service Activities

- Provide community outreach.
- Manage volunteers and project activities.
- Assist with program development.

Community Need Addressed

Helping local veterans re-integrate into civilian life through volunteering, relieving feelings of social isolation and loss of purpose, and creating connections in their community.

Position Outcomes

For veteran volunteers, reduced feelings of isolation, increased feelings of connection to the communities they live in, and increased commitment to civic engagement.
