WSC members will provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in literacy and math, along with mentoring and re-engagement activities.

Service Activities

- Provide literacy and math tutoring before, during and after school.
- Be a mentor to students to help get them re-engaged in school and raising their grades.

Community Need Addressed

Disengaged youth; low-income students dropping out or not graduating on time.

Position Outcomes

Students will become re-engaged in school, academic skills will improve, and more students will be better prepared to enter vocational or four-year college institutions.
