How do Virtual Fairs work?
Learn how to sign up and what to expect when participating in a virtual fair.
Service Year Alliance’s Virtual Career and Higher Education Fairs allow you to connect easily from your computer or phone with dozens of recruiters that value your service year experience.
To get started, click on the event you would like to attend to register and create a profile. Your profile is your first chance to introduce yourself to recruiters, so make sure to fill it out completely!
When you log in online or with your phone on the date of the event, you’ll see booths for the available organizations. Once you choose a booth to visit, you’ll be placed in line for that booth. You will be put into an online text-based conversation with a representative as soon as someone is available to chat. Each interview with recruiters at the fair will be a ten-minute chat, so be sure to prepare questions and your elevator speech in advance!
