Description
As economic mobility coaches, members will assess participants' individual situations, identify barriers to success, and set long-term stability goals. They will work alongside clients to overcome barriers to success through strategies such as community resource navigation and connection to support networks and social capital. The team will also support free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clinics for 12 hours/week from Feb-Apr. Service starts with a 2-week orientation in Greenville and daily service continues at individual host organizations. The team gathers semi-monthly for professional development, VITA training, community service projects, and social events. Schedules vary slightly by placement but usually 1st shift hours (M-F 9a-5p) with some weeknight evenings & Saturday mornings during tax season.

Desired Certifications or Qualifications
- Capable of efficiently utilizing computers, common software, and websites such as Outlook and Microsoft 365
- Two years of work or post-secondary school experience preferred
