Maintaining and improving the technology infrastructure of the School District of Philadelphia. Serving closely with mentors to gain hands-on training and studying toward industry standard certification exams. Demonstrating personal initiative to use available learning resources, and to seek out additional resources/tools. Flexible and open to learning more about different technology occupations.

Service Activities

Technical support for equipment such as desktops, laptops, printers, IWBs, tablets, and Chromebooks.
Facilitating STEM afterschool clubs
Participate in committees
Study for and earn industry standard certifications
Network in the Philadelphia Tech Scene
Support various Philadelphia School District Initiatives

Bridging the digital divide and creating a more diverse Philadelphia technology scene.

Position Outcomes

200 students will have access to STEM education, classrooms will experience better, Facilitate 100 technology projects by club/workshop participants with meaningful community impact, Provide exemplary service to at least 120 schools, and/or other locations
