Description
Austin Summer Youth Crew Leaders start on May 21st and go through 3 weeks of training before their members arrive. During training Leaders will gain a variety of hard skills and soft skills to utilize during their term. At the end of training leaders will plan their members training which will be during week 1 of the member term.
Once projects begin, two leaders will lead a crew of six Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Leaders drive program vehicles and transport crews to project sites. Crew Leaders are responsible for communicating with partners and TxCC staff, and for keeping the crew productive and safe.
