Help Tennessee welcome refugees! The Tennessee Office for Refugees is seeking a VISTA member to build and strengthen the organizational capacity to serve refugees.

Service Activities

The VISTA member will engage in resource mapping and assessment to inform VISTA project direction – supporting TOR, partner agencies, and key stakeholders to develop and increase the capacity to meet the needs of newly arrived refugees and other eligible populations.

The VISTA member will develop and implement strategies to support communication pathways to increase opportunities for collaboration amongst stakeholders; expand program materials; and utilize social media and technology platforms to raise public awareness about refugee communities and support service program offerings.

The VISTA member will identify key success indicators and measurement methods to inform programmatic improvements with best practices and pursue available grant resources to ensure program sustainability.

Increasing state-level capacity to support the Tennessee Refugee Resettlement Program.

Position Outcomes
