For the past three years I have worked in sandwich shops, to grocery stores. I've always thought "I won't be able to help the world the way that I want, until I have a college education." Here, in the past year I've come to realize that Texas Conservation Corps is THE ideal way for me to do my part to give back to my world. TxCC is also the perfect way for me to get the leg up on finishing my degree in forestry. Simply put, I want to serve because it is the first step I am taking towards the rest of my life.
