4 Corps Trail Crew Leaders to serve as leaders to crew mates and community volunteers performing trail work under the direction of a staff Field Manager and Program Manager. Term of Service: 900 hour: April 27 through October 16. Accepting applications thru February 20th or until filled.
Education award upon successful completion of service, Housing, Stipend, Student loan forbearance, Training
Build/maintain long lasting trails in beautiful locations
Training and experience: griphoist rigging, dragging and highlines, dry masonry and trail structures, trail tread and drainage, trail design and layout
Training in Wilderness First Aid and Leave No Trace Principles
Training and experience in volunteer recruitment and retention techniques
Housing provided (rustic)
Valuable professional and networking opportunities
Making a difference serving the local community and visitors from across the nation
Upon successful completion of the program, an education award of $2,960.00 for 900 hour term.
