Our nation faces enormous challenges that can only be solved by a
more engaged citizenry and a heightened sense of collective
responsibility.
The Service Year Alliance represents the first organization with the
boldness to chase our vision and the capacity to achieve it: making
a service year a common expectation and common opportunity for
every young American. We envision a day when every year, one
million young Americans engage in a service year, solving
important problems while transforming their own lives.
We are an organization that merged together the strength,
experience, and talent of three other organizations:
The Franklin Project,
ServiceNation, and
Service Year Exchange.
We focus on:
- growing the number of service year positions
- recruiting young people to do a service year
- unlocking new funding to support service year positions
- uniting the service year field and tackling field-wide needs
- building new models for service years
