Description

The duties of this position include, regular meetings with JPIC Coordinator, maintaining online calendar of work events and meetings, collaborating on goals, communicating about community concerns in writing or through educational presentations, assisting in days of service, and serving as a resource person for the Sisters of St Joseph. This position requires familiarity with networking, effective communication, and an initiative to work independently and create relationships with different teams in the NYC area towards similar goals.

Living Allowance

$150 - $150 monthly

Additional Benefits

The St Joseph Worker Program covers living expenses such as food, necessary travel, housing, and health insurance. On top of providing this, SJW Program provides an individual stipend for each community member of $150. The St Joseph Worker Program also hosts three retreats throughout the service year, covered by the SJW Program, during orientation, mid-year, and end of the service year. The SJW Program also encourages members to engage in networking and assist members in finding appropriate contacts based on their interests.
