The SolarCorps Service Operations and Maintenance Fellow will work directly with the Operations and Maintenance Service Manager to support clients with the operation and troubleshooting of their solar systems. The position is primarily remote office-based administrative support although there may be opportunities to visit sites or installations and learn about system installation. For the right, highly motivated individual, this position will provide exposure to overall operations, processes and policies of a successful solar installation non-profit.

Desired Certifications or Qualifications
● Must be 18 years or older
● 11-month commitment and complete 1700 hours of service
●To be eligible for AmeriCorps, applicants must be a U.S. citizen, national, or legal permanent resident alien of the United States.
● Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle a variety of client situations with enthusiasm, care and tact
● Ability to learn and retain new concepts and technology quickly
● Comfortable being part of a remote team
● Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills
● Proficient computer skills, Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office
● Interest in and enthusiasm for renewable energy, community development, green jobs and/or helping families and communities in need
●When working remotely, you must have access to reliable internet connection. GRID will provide a laptop, charger, headset when remote working is required.
