Description

Our AmeriCorps members serve full-time as tutors and role models for students struggling in reading and math. They work in small groups and with individual students to help them get on track to perform on-level by improving their reading and math proficiency. Members also work with teachers and peers on the development of community-wide literacy projects, and plan literacy events for parents and students in the schools they serve. Members also develop their leadership skills in a team setting.
