Sea Mar Community Health Centers is a community-based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health, human, housing, educational and cultural services to diverse communities, specializing in service to Latinos.

  • About Us
Sea Mar has led and adapted our healthcare focus to include cultural competency, diversity and inclusion, and holistic healthcare options to our communities. Sea Mar operates 38 Medical clinics, 28 Dental clinics, 51 outpatient behavioral health centers, and four inpatient behavioral health clinics in 13 counties throughout Western Washington. Sea Mar also operates WIC and Maternity Support Services offices to support families and to connect them with ongoing health care services. These services provide support for all forms of health.
Sea Mar also recognizes the role that arts, culture and community play in health and well-being. Each year, Sea Mar provides a festive experience for hundreds of families in need during the holiday season. For the last 20 years, Sea Mar has organized the annual Fiestas Patrias celebration, which includes local parades and two days of music, food and celebration of Latino culture. Sea Mar also operates two radio stations (one public station, KDNA, and one commercial station, KKMO) that focus on service to the Spanish-speaking populations in the Seattle area and in the Yakima Valley, providing health education, entertainment, and community conversation. Sea Mar has evolved into more than a health center: A vital resource engages involves and invests in communities by addressing the needs of thousands of underserved individuals each year.
  • Our Impact
Together, Sea Mar's clinics provide more than 1.6 million encounters to more than 300,000 individuals each year. Whether the intervention be individualized or in a community setting, residents of Washington State have benefited from a personalized approach to healthcare. Of the 64 % Latino, Asian, Black/African American, Native American/Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander and Multiracial patients being served by Sea Mar in 2020, 53% were at 100% or below the federal poverty level. Through federal funding, grants, fundraising, donations, and partnerships Sea Mar is able to make their access to health care possible.
