Disaster Recovery AmeriCorps Team

AmeriCorps members that serve with SBP directly impact the lives of our clients by contributing to the SBP mission: shrinking the time between disaster and recovery. Members work with clients and volunteers to rebuild homes damaged by natural disasters. Since 2006, SBP has rebuilt 2000+ homes and developed affordable housing for those impacted by natural disasters.

Join us as an AmeriCorps member and you will develop skills in public speaking, problem-solving, and project management. While serving with SBP, you will achieve measurable results for our clients, gain leadership experience and create connections with volunteers and corporate partners. You will also receive coaching and mentorship from SBP managers that are invested in your success as a leader!

Essential Functions of Position:
● Deliver orders of tools and materials to construction sites via company vehicle.
● Must be able to satisfy a Motor Vehicle Records/Driver History Check
● Assist with keeping a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and project sites.
● Prepare orders assigned by Project Managers including pulling tools and materials from the SBP
warehouse, or picking them up from a local vendor.
● Assist with tracking, organizing, repairing, and cleaning tools.
● Develop and track daily and weekly goals.
● Adhere to SBP’s Construction Manual and Safety Protocol and participate in regular safety trainings.
● Meet weekly with the Warehouse Manager to discuss goals, construction projects, professional development, and any other issues and be open to regular coaching and feedback

Living Allowance

$2100 - $2100 monthly

Additional Benefits
