Help Houston recover from Hurricane Harvey and Winter Storm Uri by serving on our AmeriCorps team!

SBP, a social impact organization focused on disaster resilience and recovery, is hiring an AmeriCorps Supply & Logistics Coordinator and an AmeriCorps Project Lead & Construction Coordinator to serve with The Restoration Team. The Restoration Team empowers local churches in west Houston to own the long-term recovery process brought on by natural disasters. They exist to engage the local community in service to the most vulnerable populations that are at risk after suffering damage from a disaster event. The member will be an integral part of The Restoration Team, helping bring families home to safe, sanitary, and secure housing. Learn more at https://www.therestorationteam.org/blog

AmeriCorps Supply & Logistics Coordinator - Essential Functions:
-Work alongside volunteers and staff to ensure the efficient delivery and use of tools, materials, and knowledge.
-Assist with tracking, organizing, repairing, and cleaning tools.
-Develop and track daily and weekly goals.
-Assist with keeping project sites clean and organized.
-Adhere to SBP’s Construction Manual and Safety Protocol and participate in regular safety trainings.

AmeriCorps Project Lead & Construction Coordinator - Essential Functions:
-Actively participate in construction projects completing each phase of construction on schedule.
-Maintain the ability to perform strenuous, physical labor in different climates, over long periods of time.
-Obtain construction permits by submitting accurate permit applications.
-Maintain the operating site’s sub-contractor database with proper documentation and identify new subcontractors.
-Attend walkthroughs with Project Managers to understand and receive bids for work from subcontractors.
-Adhere to SBP’s Construction Manual and Safety Protocol and participate in regular safety trainings.

$2100 - $2100 monthly

Additional Benefits
