Members will assist clients with a variety of resources, educational resources, landlord tenant classes, offer problem solving tools & materials, utilize other local resources and advocate for client, as appropriate within structure of the the agency placement site.

Housing & Benefits Specialists will work with individuals and groups who are preparing for their GED or working towards employment to obtain and/or maintain stable housing. Member may serve as educator, advocate, researcher and problem solver for disadvantaged clients. Agency provides materials and guidance to ensure member has tools and information to address the issues the housing and benefits obstacles presented by the client. Member may be serving as liaison to connect client to other community resources, as well.
Economically disadvantaged clients will transition into stable and safe housing.
