I have been working with students on their year long community action research projects for the past year where they have been working to alleviate an issue in their community for the past year. I would love to be able to serve my own community as well as be able to do this work outside of an academic setting. I want to gain valuable skills and experience that will allow me to better help my community in the future as well. In addition, I would love to gain a different perspective in how I view the world and those around me.
