Description

The AmeriCorps Regional Program Coordinator plays a critical role in our school-based team within the region. This role serves as a mobile coordinator to support multiple reading centers, supporting the implementation of our traditional and distance tutoring programs (or a hybrid of both). They accomplish this by tutoring, identifying trends, sharing best practices across schools, and supporting AmeriCorps Program Coordinators. If needed, Regional Program Coordinators may be asked to transition into the Program Coordinator role at a specific elementary school.

These are exciting opportunities to serve in a leadership capacity and get involved in a literacy program that works! Our top Regional Program Coordinators are ambassadors for service, demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, and strongly believe in our vision and values. Note that this role may shift as-needed based on how individual school environments shift given Covid-19. This is not a supervisory position, and this is not a remote position except when mandated by local and/or organizational Covid protocols.
