Our High School Science Teachers are responsible for developing and implementing science instruction at Red Cloud High School, working with the department chair and department colleagues to develop their curriculum, and assisting as needed with the needs of Red Cloud High School.
This position requires additional service through after-school activity support and bus driving.
Service Activities
Science instruction, homeroom teacher, student monitoring, and assisting with other needs of Red Cloud High School. Bus driving. Mentoring
Community Need Addressed
This position, in conjunction with the Red Cloud Volunteer and AmeriCorps programs, will provide biology, chemistry, or physics instruction at Red Cloud High School, as well as academic enrichment in the after-school space and bus driving support.
Position Outcomes
Students of Red Cloud High School will receive outstanding science instruction to help them meet educational goals and standards and to prepare them for more advanced instruction. Students will develop an appreciation for the subject and its application.
