AmeriCorps Partners in Learning

AmeriCorps is a national service program that engages Americans of all ages and backgrounds in service to meet the critical needs of a community. AmeriCorps Partners in Learning has been in the Dubuque community since 2000 and has over 600 alumni.

• About Us
  AmeriCorps Partners in Learning is apart of the Dubuque Campaign for Grade- Level Reading. During the school year, AmeriCorps members serve as Academic Tutors in the Dubuque Community School District's elementary schools. Members are trained in LEAD 21 curriculum, interventions and strategies.
  
  During the summer, AmeriCorps members serve with six different partner organizations in social and academic enrichment programs. The placements are the Dubuque Community School District, St. Mark Youth Enrichment, Multicultural Family Center, Dream Center, Leisure Services, and the Carnegie Stout Public Library.
  
  The Partners in Learning AmeriCorps Program is sponsored by the City of Dubuque and has a cooperative partnership with Clarke University.
