My motivation to serve with AmeriCorps is rooted in my motivation to build strong communities and improve the relationships between people, institutions, government, and corporations. I hope to dedicate my time, both via AmeriCorps and otherwise, empowering marginalized peoples and creating equal opportunities for all. I would like to maximize my time in AmeriCorps by promoting social justice in any project or conflict that presents itself. I believe AmeriCorps offers me a unique opportunity to create sustainable change that will continue to thrive beyond my limited time serving.
