Prevent child abuse and neglect. We accomplish our mission by: Implementing evidence based practices and programs; collaborating with multi-disciplinary partners; providing training and technical assistance to build capacity and; Advocating for policies to strengthen children families and communities

  • About Us
In the PATH Program, AmeriCorps members will provide parenting education to families at risk for child abuse and neglect through an evidence based home visitation program. They will also teach parents how to support their child’s development in the home.

PATH provides 20 AmeriCorps Members full time terms of service for up to 4 years. These members will learn a variety of career development skills, form relationships with professional mentors, receive a
bi-monthly living allowance, and an education award after successful completion of service. This award can be used to pay qualified educational costs and repay student loans.
  • Our Impact
240 Families at risk for child abuse and neglect will participate in parenting education.
168 Families will receive 12 hours or more of Home Visitation Services.
151 Parents will improve their parenting skills.
90% of parents with 12 hours of home visitation will not have any substantiated referrals to Child Protective Services.
