As part of this mission, Grace After Fire is seeking an AmeriCorps VISTA to assist in funding development, strategic planning and outreach for the longevity and continued stability of the organization. The AmeriCorps VISTA will be responsible for analyzing current funding trends, conduct a developmental needs assessment, and participate in corporate, community and state outreach efforts and activities. Review and create marketing materials to enhance development outreach. Establish and cultivate relationships with partnering programs to enhance collaboration. Research and create funding timelines for appropriate outreach initiatives including fundraising opportunities.

Grace After After Fire (GAF)is nonprofit organization who is dedicated to helping women Veterans help themselves by providing the tools to gain knowledge, insight, and self-renewal.

Position Outcomes

Grace After Fire empowers and guides women Veterans as they re-enter back into their communities, the workforce, and their homes. Grace After Fire's unique concept of working exclusively with women Veterans, confidential peer-to-peer outreach, and direct access to appropriate health and other support services serve as resources for women Veterans to discover ways to live healthy and be gainfully employed thus preventing one less Veteran from becoming homeless.
