This position will help our YouthBuild participants with their dire need for affordable housing and help our construction staff and Rebuilding Together Spokane with their construction projects and NCCER curriculum. Rebuilding Together Spokane (RTS) is a local affiliate of the national Rebuilding Together non-profit that hosts a community-wide construction project that supports one organization or family each year. YouthBuild is a GED/work training program for 18-24 year-olds funded through the Department of Labor. This position will connect with these participants, collect data for reports and monthly newsletters, facilitate a civic engagement service project, and organize service projects for National Days of Service. They will also work with the YouthBuild construction trainer to organize site visits to local apprenticeships, as well as help plan and execute each cohort's graduation ceremony. The Member Support/Resource Coordinator will work with the RTS board for the national Rebuild Day, and work with the YouthBuild participants to connect them to a home being helped that day.
