We at Notre Dame Mission Volunteers AmeriCorps believe that education is the fundamental tool in the struggle for human dignity, self-esteem, and self-determination. In Phoenix, we have several placements with organizations that serve the unique needs of the community. Our partners include the Acadamies of Math and Science, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona, A New Leaf, Phoenix Day, La Mesita, and St. Vincent de Paul. Our members serve in many different capacities ranging from supporting mentor matches to assisting with English as a second language class.
