Description

We at Notre Dame Mission Volunteers AmeriCorps believe that education is the fundamental tool in the struggle for human dignity, self-esteem, and self-determination. In Phoenix, we have several placements with organizations that serve the unique needs of the community. Our partners include the Acadamies of Math and Science, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona, Boys Hope Girls Hope of Arizona, Read Better Be Better, and La Mesita. Our members serve in many different capacities ranging from supporting mentor matches to assisting with English as a second language class.
