conduct health screenings and referrals in hospital emergency department; develop and conduct needs assessments with staff and patients; conduct health education lessons; coordinate patient followup for behavioral health services; develop class educational materials; represent the program and promote health services to patients; assist with expanding the program to other clinics
Patient Reach: 15 individuals, 40 referrals, 80 patients per week

NHC Florida AmeriCorps members serving in FY AMR20 who successfully complete a full-time term of service will receive an Education Award from the National Service Trust of $5,920.00. A member has up to seven years after his or her term of service to use the Education Award.
