The Native American Achievement Center (NAAC) at Montana State University Billings works to recruit and retain American Indian students, advocating for students and encouraging their individual, social, cultural and emotional growth.

Service Activities

In this position you will help to identify and build relationships and develop articulation agreements with targeted high schools and tribal colleges in an effort to deepen ties and better serve Native American students, families, and communities. You will also collaborate with the NAAC and MSUB New Student Services to develop touchpoints and guide students through their entire college experience from enrollment to graduation.

Position Outcomes

The NAAC team will collaborate with NSS and MSUB support services towards Native student recruitment, enrollment, and student success. The NAAC team will be in regular contact with all current Native students through identifying important touchpoints designed to engage Native students, optimize educational opportunities, and support their personal development.
