Cultivating Connections is a nonprofit educational organization that provides real job skills in agriculture and home arts through internships, farm tours, and community supported agriculture (CSA) food shares.

Service Activities

As an AmeriCorps member you will support the youth internship program by providing supportive leadership and collaborating to deliver markets, CSA food shares, and other events. You will also serve as a professional mentor for interns as you help them to turn their interests into a college and career plan. Additionally, you will perform community outreach and share about Cultivating Connection’s programs through newsletters, social media, etc.

Increase academic success and post-secondary attainment of local high school students

Position Outcomes

Provide college positive mentorship to high school juniors and seniors. Provide K-12 students, college students, and other community members opportunities to volunteer on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Global Youth Service Day. Provide K-12 students, college students, and community members opportunities to grow food and gain agricultural experience, while also raising general awareness of Cultivating Connections Montana.
