Description

The Alliance for Housing’s mission is to support housing solutions by promoting community partnerships. The Alliance’s purpose is to establish a collective response that addresses homelessness and affordable housing, develop a local system that identifies gaps in homeless services, and create solutions to overcome barriers and end homelessness by linking people in need with the services they require. The VISTA member will provide capacity-building services in order to build partnerships and bridge the gaps within the system. The member will provide the Alliance with the ability to increase the support to agencies, identify grant opportunities, and organize community fundraising. Questions about this project can be directed to the Program Director at kbeavers@mihomeless.org and Project Site Supervisor at lmccall-alliance@oaklandhomeless.org
