Description

Maine Campus Compact (MCC) is a statewide coalition of colleges and universities whose purpose is to further the public purposes and civic mission of higher education. MCC’s team of 10 VISTAs will develop programming that mobilizes college students to increase college aspirations in Maine’s K-12 youth with an emphasis on low-income students.

The STEM VISTA will provide outreach and technical assistance support focused on collaborative STEM Engaging Initiatives to help advance STEM education for low-income students in Maine. Specific duties include program outreach, recruitment of participants/ volunteers, technical assistance support for K-20 STEM collaborations, and help conduct a pre- and post- surveys focused on collaborative STEM Initiatives.
