AmeriCorps Energy Efficiency Coordinator

Description

During their service year, MEAP AmeriCorps members will develop a community environmental action plan; organize, promote, and oversee 2 community energy education events; plan, promote, and oversee one Window Insulating Insert Build Event; conduct (mostly) virtual Green Energy Home Assessments; conduct outreach for the Conserve Maine Energy (CME) Public Awareness Campaign; organize one virtual Green Jobs community forum and one Earth Day event; and disseminate our Conserve Maine Energy Resource Guide and other resource materials. In addition, when possible, members will also plan and oversee a campus Energy Education Event for students living on and off college campuses; conduct virtual campus Green Energy Assessments to create behavioral change around energy efficiency; recruit student volunteers for MEAP community events; and develop other projects around energy efficiency on campus as needed.
