Description

An LVC volunteer is placed in a full-time position at one of our placement sites. There are various positions related to each non-profit, and our volunteers assume the roles and responsibilities of the position for which they are hired.
The Northwest Volunteer Coordinator – Food Focused position works with the Volunteer Engagement Manager to recruit and manage volunteers for a variety of programs at Bread for the City. He or she will spend about 30% of their time with our food department, working with volunteers and client leaders to facilitate collaboration between our pantries, rooftop gardens, and orchard. The Northwest Volunteer Coordinator must be able to manage multiple projects, keep track of many details, and to be able to communicate with a variety of people.
