I am professionally and educationally prepared to provide a wide range of
supportive services to meet the evolving needs of the local and surrounding communities.
My work background has provided me extensive and varied experiences in educational,
state agencies, and non-profit organizations. Including, but not limited, to safety shelters,
emergency shelters, and state offices. For example, I was involved in assisting setup an
emergency shelter in Ventura, California in the summer of 2014 to aid the influx of
unaccompanied minors. My work involved supervision of ongoing projects and providing
case management services along with educational needs. Due to this, I have experience
working closely with governmental agencies and operating with their requirements and
requests.
Throughout my career, my involvement has included providing guardianship
services for unaided minors throughout the United States, counsel and coordinate
struggling college freshmen for 3 years, and providing employment services to non-
custodial parents become self-sufficient through Texas Workforce. These varied
experiences have made me passionate and motivated in providing safe environments and
services for struggling individuals in diverse situations. My knowledge is well-rounded in
administrative work, management, and high school to college level educational assistance.
My career has prepared me for unexpected situations that required last minute
planning and rapid learning skills. It has taught me not only the importance of teamwork,
but also the ability to adapt to situations quickly and effectively. It is of upmost importance
in executing objectives and in serving others efficiently.
