Description

JVC Northwest is seeking Spanish speakers for service positions supporting Latinx communities in Oregon and Washington. Empowering Latinx youth and assist them to grow in leadership skills, advocate for immigrants/refugees in their legal proceedings, or provide companionship for adults who are aging or disabled, there are many ways applicants who are proficient or fluent in Spanish can address pressing community needs!

As part of the service year, Jesuit Volunteer/AmeriCorps members live in community with three to seven other volunteers and explore the values of spirituality/reflection, community, simple living, and social and ecological justice. Benefits include housing, room and board, medical insurance, an AmeriCorps Education Award of over $6,000, support throughout the year, retreats, personal and professional development, and connection to a vast network of former JVs and AmeriCorps alumni.

Our program year runs August 5, 2019 - July 31, 2020. Positions are filling up fast, so be sure to apply today!
