Taking a year of service is something that I am eager to do because I have spent the last four years dedicated to school and work. A year of service is something that will give me the chance to take a break from the books and give back to the community. I have always been devoted to mission work and volunteering but I have never had the opportunity to fully invest myself in service work for a whole year. I have always felt that my time serving has been cut short. An opportunity to serve for a year will help me grow, and allow me to experience new environments, cultures and situations.
